I heart family photoshoots!
I especially love working with young families. There's something really special about the transition from a "couple" to a "family". It's usually a little unpredictable, sometime chaotic, but always very loving. Those early years go by so fast, you often have to remind yourself to stop and enjoy the moment.
Meet Meghan, Brian, and their adorable son. Like any not-yet-two years old boy, their son was an active toddler. Our photoshoot involved lots of chasing and a little whinning. Luckily I was not fazed since it was like every one of my photoshoots with my son Brayden. All Meghan wanted was some photos to capture this beautiful fun age before her son grows up too fast. This is why I love what I do. I get to capture these cute moments when life is moving too fast.
The day will come when life finally calms down (When is that by the way? When we send them off to college?). Meghan and Brian can sit down in their clean, babyproof-less living room and reminisce about the cute little baby boy they once held in their arms...
his infectious laugh...
holding his cute little hand...
those big blue eyes...
his curly blonde hair...
and how life is really beautiful.
